Safe Keyholding
Foundations for boundaries, consent, and accountability that keeps sessions honest.
Use concrete language
Name what is allowed, what needs another check-in, and what is out of bounds. Vague permissions get reinterpreted later when emotions run hot.
Put those terms in a Keyholder Agreement you both can re-read before each session.
Keep consent reversible
An agreement can define in-app consequences. It cannot remove anyone’s ability to stop a real-world activity for safety or consent.
Emergency release, hygiene windows, and hard limits belong in writing before the lock starts.
Pick accountability that matches the risk
Self-lock keeps decisions yours with structure around duration. A trusted keyholder adds a real person under shared terms. The Keeper is software that follows configured boundaries. It is not a person and never replaces human safety judgment.
Review the full agreement again before reuse. Saved templates are a starting point, not a shortcut past consent.
